Essay-Writing Competition – Rules
- This is an online monthly essay-writing competition, announced on the 1st of every month.
- It is open to any student between the ages of 5 and 14 years from anywhere in the world.
- The target age categories are:
- Ages 5 through 8;
- Ages 8 through 11
- Ages 11 through 14.
- All entries are to be in English, either UK English or US English.
- Attractive prizes for each age category will be mailed to the selected essays.
- All entries will be acknowledged with a “Certificate of Participation.”
- Use A4-size white paper for writing the essay.
- On one side, write your name, name of parent, email of parent & mobile of parent.
- On the other side, write an essay, using about 300 words.
- All essays need to be hand-written (pencil preferred).
Scan the essay & email it to before the last day of the month.
The topics for the essays are:
- January: My New Year Resolution
- February: My Dream
- March: My Mother (Prizes given away on Mother’s Day, which is May 9, 2027)
- April: My Father (Prizes given away on Father’s Day, which is June 20, 2027)
- May: My Environment (Prizes given away on June 5, World Environment Day)
- June: My Favourite Sportsperson
- July: My Favourite Movie
- August: My Favourite Author
- September: My Best Friend
- October: My Ideas to make the World a better place
- November: My Favourite Game
- December: My Dream
